  2. Google Meet for video and audio meetings

Hangouts: 

Hangouts brings conversations to life with photos, emoji, and even group video calls for free, Google began developing Hangouts into a product aimed at enterprise communication then Hangouts has evolved into 2 premium products Google Chat for messaging and Google Meet for video and audio meetings

Google Chat (previously called Hangouts Chat): 

Includes direct messaging, group chat, and advanced features, such as rooms, chatbots, and powerful search. If your organization or team already has G Suite or Google Workspace, Chat is probably already enabled. If you have trouble accessing Chat, your admin can enable Chat at no additional cost, After Chat is enabled, you can start using it at chat.google.com

Google Meet (previously called Hangouts Meet)

Includes high-fidelity group video calls, screen sharing, and live captioning. Depending on which edition of Google Workspace you have, Meet might also include advanced features, such as up to 250 participants per meeting, meeting recordings, and in-domain live streaming.

Meet is included in G Suite Basic, Business, Google Workspace for Education, and Enterprise, and Google Workspace.

Google Rooms: 

A central place where people can share files, assign tasks, and stay connected.
Group conversations: Chat directly with a group. For example, use group conversations to have a quick discussion after a meeting.
